Communications and Marketing Usage

FediHost may use customer information to provide details about products to the customer such as system information, maintenance updates or information about new or upgraded products.

FediHost may create videos or blogs analyzing over user trends, at no point will this data be granular enough to identify individual users..

With the consent of customers FediHost may post customer testimonials on our web site which contain personally identifiable information.

Data Security

FediHost protects the confidentiality of customers information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of FediHost, its partners, its employees and other customers of FediHost services. We follow accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information sent to us.

To protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information that is collected from customers, FediHost has appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place.

FediHost cannot guarantee the security and integrity of hosted services which are developed by third parties. We update any software with the latest patches provided by developers promptly after release to decrease the risk of customer data being compromised.

Email Transmission

E-mail is not a secure medium of transmission. We ask that you do not send private information to us by e-mail and instead use our support ticketing system. All information should be submitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection.

Disclosure of Information

FediHost will not otherwise disclose the personal and account information of customers unless FediHost has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary for the following scenarios:

• To identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm.
• Interfering with the intellectual rights or property of FediHost, FediHost customers, or others.
• In response to legal issues or defending against legal claims.
• To investigate, prevent or take action regarding fraud

We do not share, rent, or trade with third parties for promotional purposes.

Data Retention

FediHost will retain your information for as long as your account is active or paid in full and up to date. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
